Vitché

As a little boy, Vitché made drawings and used the results as toys with which to play and construct stories. He created characters with unique histories and traits with which to populate and act out the narratives of his imagination. Many years later, with a refined style, signature palette of red, black, white, and silver, and more than fifteen years of painting in the streets, Vitché still pursues the same mission. Each character created has its personal story, one inevitably opaque to the viewer unless Vitché himself is there to narrate it, but impelling the form with meaning nonetheless.
