Within Brazil, Kboco is one of the most widely travelled graffiti artists. His work stretches from the Northeastern coast across to his hometown of Goiania in the central high plains. His paintings adorn colonial architecture in the ports of Olinda and Recife as well as vacant lots in Porto Alegre and Sao Paulo.
Among his influences are African Art, Mayan designs and native Brazilian artwork. From the Modern art world he admires Brazilian artists Regina Silveira and Arthur Bispo do Rosario and Joan Miro from Spain.
Thanks to Lost Art for these great photographs.
